LEVEL OF PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT IN TEACHING DIGITAL LITERACY WASTE PROCESSING TO EARLY CHILDREN AT RAA BAIPAS ROUDLOTUL JANNAH

Parental involvement in this research includes parental activities and interactions in helping children use and understand digital waste processing literacy actively and responsibly. On parents' ability to help their children become understanding and responsible digital users. The level of parental involvement in teaching digital literacy is based on dimensions, namely research measures the level of parental involvement based on 6 dimensions and indicators of digital literacy, namely ICT skills, communication, collaboration, communications, seeking and finding information, and security. This research uses descriptive quantitative methods. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire distributed online. The results of this research show that the majority of parents show quite high awareness of the importance of digital literacy. Based on the six dimensions of digital literacy, ICT skills are in the "Medium" category 79.3%, creativity is in the "Medium" category 51.7%, collaboration is in the "Medium" category 63.8%, communication is in the "Medium" category " 72.4%, searching and finding information was in the "Medium" category at 67.2%, and security was in the "Medium" category at 72.4%. Based on the level of parental involvement in teaching digital literacy to children, the percentage is 60.3% in the medium category.
