DEVELOPMENT OF THE TAKE YOUR TRASH GAME TO GROW THE CHARACTER OF ENVIROMENTAL CARE IN CHILDREN AGED 5-6 YEARS

Environmentally conscious character is important to be instilled since early childhood to manage natural resources in the surrounding environment and foster a sense of sensitivity and responsibility towards the environment so that it underlies children's behavior in everyday life. The Take Your Trash game was developed to make the learning process more interesting and to accustom children to be sensitive and responsible for environmental conditions as an effort to maintain environmental sustainability in their lives. This study uses the ADDIE model development research type. The results of the validity test by material experts obtained a value of 99.03%, while the results of the validity test by media experts obtained a value of 97.11%, in addition this game product has also gone through small group trials obtained a value of 99.07% and large group trials obtained a value of 94.44%. The results of the assessment indicate that the Take Your Trash Game can be said to be feasible or valid to be played by children to foster environmental conscious character in children aged 5-6 years. The development of this product can be applied to children aged 5-6 years.
