This study aims to examine the effectiveness of improving gross motor skills of early childhood through movement and song. Qualitative descriptive method was used to observe and describe the implementation of movement and song creations carried out at Shafira Kindergarten Surabaya. Data collection techniques include observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the study showed that movement and song creations with the concept of single movements and independent movements with movement variations proved to be very effective in improving gross motor skills of early childhood. This approach helps children develop their balance, coordination, and gross motor strength. Educators provide individual guidance that helps children overcome difficulties and increase active participation in activities. In addition, simple movements and songs based on children's daily movements are easier to understand and remember, thus increasing the effectiveness of learning. This study makes a significant contribution to active, innovative, creative, effective, and fun learning methods for early childhood, as well as supporting their gross motor development and introducing efforts to love their environment from an early age.
