Abstract

This study aims to develop the effectiveness of abata busy book media and the attractiveness of the media to stimulate the ability to recognize hijaiyah letters in early childhood group A. The basic assumption of this study is that early childhood has a high curiosity, likes to play, and already knows basic shapes. The busy book media designed consists of various educational activities by utilizing waste in the school environment aims to improve language skills, fine motor skills, and cognitive skills in children, as well as reusing existing waste. This study uses the RnD method involving several educational units as samples. The results of the study indicate that the use of busy book media can increase children's interest in learning and reading skills, and have a positive impact on their language development. This study is expected to contribute to the development of effective play media for early childhood
