Abstract

This paper presents a conceptual design for an automated defense system inspired by the Iron Dome technology, aimed at protecting the southern coast of Java from the devastating effects of megathrust earthquakes and tsunamis. The system integrates a combination of retractable sea-based walls, advanced early warning systems, and tsunami-resistant infrastructure. Given the specific threat posed by the Sunda Megathrust, this paper explores the design, technology, and potential impacts of such a system, proposing a novel approach to disaster mitigation.
