It is of great importance to increase environmental awareness among students in order to prepare them with the understanding and skills necessary to create a sustainable higher education environment. One way to achieve this is through the use of emission-free vehicles, which has implications for reducing carbon emissions in the university area. The objective of this research is to assess the extent of students' ecological awareness through the utilization of zero-emission vehicles, to analyze students' environmental knowledge regarding environmental problems, to analyze students' pro-environmental behavior regarding the use of transportation, and to analyze students' environmental attitudes towards the handling of environmental problems. This research is a type of survey research with a quantitative descriptive approach. The participating sample consisted of 446 students, and the sampling technique employed was proportional stratified random sampling. The data collection technique employed an online questionnaire comprising aspects of awareness, attitudes, and understanding of the environment. The data analysis technique utilized descriptive statistical tests. The research results obtained from all samples studied indicated that the level of students' environmental awareness was included in the suitable criteria, with a score of 71.24 and a percentage of 82.06%. Consequently, higher education institutions continue to strive to provide environmentally based education to enhance students' level of environmental awareness
