Abstract

Eco-Enzyme use is becoming more widespread, but many people still do not understand how to make it or its benefits. Therefore, outreach and training programs on Eco-Enzyme production are essential to help the community manage waste and care for their environment. Additionally, it should be communicated that Eco-Enzyme can provide economic benefits as it can replace chemical-based cleaners that need to be purchased. A series of outreach and training activities have been conducted in Tangerang Regency and South Tangerang City, with 176 participants. The community's perception of Eco-Enzyme and household waste management was studied using a descriptive qualitative approach. The research showed that 90% of the community does not process their household waste and only discards or burns it. Meanwhile, 95% of respondents desired to make and use Eco-Enzyme daily.
